Campaign Terms and Conditions:

A – Campaign details:

1. Spend PKR 10,000 or more to participate in this campaign by using eligible Visa cards issued through Pakistan local banks only (the “Visa Cards”) to WIN exciting gifts such as:

A. Carrefour Gift cards worth PKR 5000 or PKR 10000 or PKR 25000 or PKR 50000 (the “Gift Cards”) (Redeemable for in-store purchases only);

B. Three (3) FIFA World CUPTM Group Match Packages

B- General Terms of Campaign

2. Following are the eligibility criteria for the participants:

A. The Participants can enter into this campaign from 1 September, 2022 to 28 September, 2022 (the “Term”)

B. This campaign is valid for residents of Pakistan at all Carrefour Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and Carrefour Online (the “Stores”) by using Visa Cards. Apple Pay or Samsung Pay transactions are not eligible.

C. Spend PKR. 10,000/- or above for in-stores and online purchases during the Term using Visa Cards as a form of payment to participate in this campaign.

3. MAF Hypermarkets Pakistan (Private) Limited, its branches, subsidiaries, and sister companies (the “Company”) shall not be liable to you if you suffer any financial loss or damage from our refusal to allow you to take part in the campaign or our withdrawal of the campaign or any failure or inability by you to use the campaign for any reason.

4. These terms and any disputes or claims arising out of, or in connection with, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.

5. If any fraudulent activity is detected related to this campaign, the Company reserves the right to withhold the prizes/offers, and a replacement winner will be selected from the original participants.

6. The winners can neither transfer their prizes, nor nominate others in their place.

7. This promotion is not available to any Majid Al Futtaim Group employees, including Majid Al Futtaim Retail.

8. The Company may request participants to consent in writing to endorse, promote and/or advertise any service of the Company. The winners may, however, decline such a request to use their details or image in marketing material or to participate in marketing of any of the Company services.

9. Multiple entries are allowed during the Term, if it meets the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

10. The Gift Cards can be used partially until the amount is finished or up to six months from date of card activation whichever comes first. This will be collected by the winners from the store that they purchased from.

11. Winners of the FIFA Packages will receive an email, followed by a call from the Carrefour Customer Service team to collect their details along with their nominated companion, which will be shared with Visa for the purpose of organizing travel, accommodation and logistics. The winner must share all details before 01 October 2022, to claim the prizes successfully, along with a copy of their original purchase receipt. Should the winner’s information not be shared by the cutoff date, or if the Company is unable to contact the winners, a replacement winner will be selected from the original participants. “Tickets to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, whether awarded as a prize and/or are included as part of a promotion, must be accepted as awarded and are subject to all of the applicable terms and conditions prescribed to such tickets from time to time by FIFA. Such terms and conditions are contained in the General Terms and Conditions for the Use of Tickets and the Stadium Code of Conduct (which can be reviewed at www.fifa.com/tickets). By accepting tickets as a prize and/or as part of a promotion, the holder is deemed to have accepted all of the applicable terms and conditions.” Once the winners are registered with Visa, they will receive further communications from the Visa team with details of packages/business seats, links to download their tickets, and any further applications needed (e.g., Hayya card).

C – How to enter the draw

In-store:

Customers with qualifying purchase using eligible Visa cards will receive lucky draw coupons from the cash counter upon the purchase. Customers will need to fill in the required details i.e. name, order number, phone number and email address and drop the coupon in the draw box to enter the draw.

Online:

Customers with qualifying purchase using eligible Visa cards will be automatically enrolled into the draw using their online registered details.

• Visa costs or processing
